Member benefits

As part of being a current, paid financial member of Coogee Beach SLSC, there are some added benefits.

All Club Directors, Officers and Active Patrolling Members who have met the qualification criteria below can select between:

Free basic access to the gymnasium for twelve (12) months or,
Free Board/Ski Storage Hire for twelve (12) months

All Members that qualify for the above entitlements must be a financial member of the Club during the period of entitlement, if a member becomes unfinancial during the period the entitlement will be automatically removed.

Note: Gymnasium Membership excludes personal trainers, classes, and gym courses and is subject to review on gym membership and access times if the gym becomes congested during peak usage periods. 

Qualification Criteria

Active Patrolling Members can obtain free access to the gym provided they have completed twenty-four (24) hours in the current, or prior season.
All Club Officers need to be formally appointed each season by the management Committees.
Life Members automatically qualify for the above entitlements.
The Director of Business & Marketing will formally advise the Coogee Beach Fitness Club and the Club Administrator of the Club Members that qualify for entitlements on an annual basis.

All other adult Surf Club members qualify for a $100 discount on Coogee Beach Fitness Club fees. This is based on the per annum rate and will be calculated based on the type of membership the member chooses.

Club showers and member bands 

To access the change rooms, a member band must be obtained. Please email clubadministration@cbslsc.com.au to arrange.  For more information on wristbands, read the FAQs.

Storage hire

We have racks available for hire (dependant on availability) to store Surf Skis, Paddle Boards or Competition boards. Please email clubadministrator@cbslsc.com for further information.
