Little Nippers and Nippers
Parents are expected to bring their children to the coaches and remain at the beach or training location, not just drop them at the clubhouse. Each child must have a parent or nominated guardian on the beach during water activities for safety reasons or the children will be unable to participate.
Cost
Training programs run over both the winter and summer months and are included in your membership fees!
Equipment
Equipment is available for member use in each of the disciplines. Coaches will arrange use of appropriate equipment.
Please follow the guide below on the days to sign out/in a board. This ensures there is enough boards available for all competitors and nippers/youth on Sundays. The below guide also applies for training at a different beach.
| Competition day | Collection day | Return day |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday | Sunday (week prior) | Saturday (same day) |
| Sunday | Saturday (day before) | Sunday (same day) |
Step One:
Find the right board for the age group. Refer to the ‘Junior Surf Sport Board Guide’ below for U6/7 to U14. Full length fiberglass boards are to be used for all competitors U14 to masters. Check with coaches if you need assistance.
Step 2:
Use the QR code posted around the club. Find the asset number on the board and record this in the form.
Step 3:
Return the board directly after the carnival by using the QR code to scan it back in. If there is any damage, please report this so it can get fixed.
If boards are not returned, a financial penalty will be incurred.
