Located on the water’s edge overlooking Cockburn Sound with magnificent 180-degree ocean views and a backdrop of blue water, sunsets and abundant bird life, Coogee Beach SLSC is the perfect place to host your special event.
Our venue can accommodate a number of events ranging from birthdays, school graduations, sporting events, gala dinners to engagement parties and wedding celebrations for 10 to 600 people.
Our dedicated and experienced staff will be there to assist you form the initial enquiry to the coordination of your function/event.
We have now teamed with Ultimo Catering and Events to be our preferred caterer, to deliver the perfect food options for your functions held here.

No, children must be 5 years old as at 30 September each calendar year.
Family memberships are available. View our Membership Pricing page for details.
Active Memberships are for members who have obtained a SLSA qualification and participate in beach patrols and/or water safety duties. Annual proficiency tests are required to requalify each year.
Parents are encouraged to complete the Adult Surf Rescue or Nipper Rescue Certificate courses run by Club trainers each year to assist with water safety for Junior programs.
The Club runs regular training programs for members. For course information and dates, visit our Training page.
Yes, we have smaller room options available. You don’t need to book the entire function room.
No, we are a licensed venue and alcohol from outside the premises is prohibited.
Yes, we cater for all occasions including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
